New cutting head technology developed by TSM, Inc. will allow the user to cut faster and straighter with less variation and less abrasive, providing lower cost of operation and a faster return on investment. (Patent Pending).
Programming the Hex-A-Jet is no different than any X-Y-Z machine. Using the Synergy CAD-CAM programming system from Weber systems, everything from simple 2D shapes, to cams and gears, to trimming 3D solids are all easily created.
Since Synergy is also integrated into the Hex-A-Jet’s control, making changes such as offset or taper angle to 5 axis paths is as easy as making the change(s) and clicking refresh to re-post the motion file. The motion file is then converted into the hexapod’s 6 leg lengths that simulate X-YZ motion without the programmer having to do anything.
The post processor has tables built into it that automatically output straight line speeds, corner acceleration – deceleration, and taper compensation based on user input cutting parameters – material, thickness, etc. These tables are all customizable so that the operator can modify the values based on cutting experience.
Call for a demonstation. With Hex-A-Jet 5-Axis waterjet cutting couldn't be easier.
